Our Mission and Goals

You can help win $25,000 for our shelter, to help our pets by getting the most votes at The Animal Rescue Site.

Please visit the link below every day through December 14, 2008 and vote for North Beach PAWS, and we could possibly win a much needed grant. The site is hosting a challenge for Petfinder.com member shelters. A total of $100,000 in grants will be awarded based on the number of votes that each shelter receives. Please help us win some of this money. All you have to do is click on the oblong purple button on the home page to help rescued animals, and another page will come up that allows you to vote at the bottom of it for North Beach PAWS. Both of these actions are absolutely free. Every time that you vote (hopefully every day), or ask a friend to vote, you are making a huge boost to our chances of receiving some grant money. When you click the link below, In the center column of the page, click the large purple box on the screen, and when the next screen appears, click the box with the flower entitled "vote now!" you’ll then see a box that looks like this:

Voting for PAWS is easy, just:

1. Enter the words “North Beach PAWS” into the “Shelter Name” field.
2. Select, “WA” from the dropdown menu.
3. Click “Search”

You’ll see a box that looks like this:



4. Click “Vote” next to “North Beach PAWS”.
5. On the next screen, answer the confirmation question by correctly identifying the animal in the picture.

Be sure to come back every day from now until December 15th to help North Beach PAWS win the $25,000 grand prize.
